Chances are the pup in your life is treated like family because, well, they are family! We love our four-legged friends, even when they are annoying and not listening, even when they bark and beg for attention when you are exhausted, and especially when they love us back with snuggles and kisses. When it comes to being pregnant, dogs love our baby bumps too. Pups and bumps go together like a big plate of biscuits and gravy!
It’s so sweet to watch how gentle my bullmastiff is when she is around my bump. She will rest her head on it when she is sleepy, and avoid jumping on it when she is wild and playful. She is very much aware that something (or someone, rather) is in there, and she must be careful and respectful.
My sweet bullmastiff Scout is always so calm and gentle around my bump.
