How to Make a DIY Backyard Labyrinth

A Backyard Labyrinth brings some zen into your life! These old meditation mazes are fun to walk and make a unique focal point in your yard. Making one is super easy….

Materials I Used:

-about 150 bricks (or more depending on size)

-garden shovel

-I used this labyrinth guide I found on Pinterest for reference

Time to Make Your Backyard Labyrinth!

Pick your spot. Start by making one small circle. Then make three more circles around, each larger than the other. Take your guide, and start moving bricks around to eventually form your labyrinth. Walk it to test it out. Then lay the bricks in the ground with your garden shovel (not fun for your back!) it took me around 2.5 hours from start to finish to create.

I love it! Kennedy loves it too and it’s a fun conversation piece when people come to visit. Have fun making yours!

This little side area was a perfect spot for my labyrinth.

Then I made three more circles around the small one.
I used my guide to arrange the bricks into the labyrinth…Kennedy helped by walking it to make sure it was correct.
My little labyrinth is so neat!
I added pea stones between the bricks. You could also plant grass or use mulch.

Thanks so much for checking out my blog! I am always up to something at the farm.
