Orange Beach, AL: A Gulf Coast Favorite

Two words: Orange Beach! Lon and I have been dipping our toes in the sand at this fun and charming beach town since we moved to New Orleans 10 years ago. So naturally, Orange Beach made sense for our 11th wedding anniversary trip. Since we are now a family of four (adding our adorable 10-month-old daughter Kennedy and dog Scout to the mix), we got to experience this beach as a family, and it was extra special!

THE HOTEL – HOTEL INDIGO (22843 Perdido Beach Blvd)

I wanted to find a pet and family-friendly hotel that still offered all the luxury amenities we enjoy when visiting the beach. Hotel Indigo fit the bill!

Hotel Indigo offers a luxurious family-friendly experience.

With Gulf State Park as the hotel’s backyard and right across the street from the beach, huge indoor and outdoor pools, bar, gym, room service, walking distance to restaurants, adorable coffee shop connected to the lobby, lush walking trails surrounding the hotel, and gorgeous rooms with attention to every detail (check out my pictures below…I had a hard time narrowing them down!), Hotel Indigo went above and beyond our expectations!

THE FOOD – THE GULF (27500 Perdido Beach Blvd)

When visiting Orange Beach, make sure to check out The Gulf for a deliciously beachy dining experience. The website nailed it when saying, “The Gulf is the seaside hideaway you dreamed you’d find for a gathering of friends, family or loved ones. A truly enchanting seaside setting with a chic and casual ambiance that makes everyone comfortable and welcome.”

Special thank you to Hotel Indigo for hosting our stay and the The Gulf for the delicious lunch. We had a wonderful anniversary weekend and all ready looking forward to our next visit!
