Our New Life on the Farm

We made it! After 11 wonderful years living in New Orleans, we sold our house and moved to my family’s farm in Lula, Georgia (about an hour northeast of Atlanta). Kennedy already loves all the animals here, including her mini horse, Hamilton Beignet. We are so excited to begin this new journey at Fox Run Farm. Thank you for all the love and support along the way.

We are currently renting an Airbnb in a nearby town while we make some updates to the house including new lighting, paint, refinish floors and bathrooms to name a few.
Meanwhile, construction on my aunt’s house is really moving along! We bought our house from her and she is building this one on the farm. It’s so cute and we are thrilled to be neighbors! She is living in the downstairs of our house (she has lived in the house since it was built in 1979)while her new house gets finished. So many moving parts, but we are making it work!
Look at that smile! The moment Kennedy realized she was sitting on a real horse. Pure joy!
And the smile got even bigger!
The barn is just a few steps away from the house. So happy Kennedy will get to grow up here just like I did ❤️
Stepping into our new farm life with excitement.
Thank you for following along as we embark on this new adventure! I will be posting weekly updates on our farmhouse reno. Stay tuned!

I need to find a letter you wrote when you were a little girl. You begged your Dad and I to move to the farm. Your lifelong dream finally became reality. I am so happy you all are home. ❤️❤️❤️
